Born from collapse and built on conviction, the Rug'd Faction is the original proving ground — the faction that started it all. Every card in the initial release belongs here. Every mechanic was designed around its identity.
The Rug'd Faction doesn't just represent a playstyle — it represents a philosophy. That to be rugged is not to fail. That you survive, rebuild, and come back stronger. That legitimacy is earned, not airdropped.

Future factions won't be sponsorship slots or logo placements. They will be real integrations — built around a partner project's identity, community, and lore. Each faction must earn its place in the Rug'd universe.
Identity-First
Each partner faction is built around a real project identity — not a template. Lore, mechanics, token design, and visual language are developed to reflect who the partner actually is.
Selective by Design
Rug'd will not onboard factions at scale. Partnerships will be chosen carefully based on alignment, community quality, and long-term fit. Not every project qualifies.
Real Mechanical Integration
Partner factions won't just look different — they'll play differently. Unique abilities, stat tendencies, and synergy patterns will reflect each faction's strategic philosophy.
Ecosystem Vision
NFT OPT-IN &
SHARED REVENUE
When a partner faction enters Rug'd, community members from that ecosystem may be able to opt in their NFTs — turning real digital assets into the foundation of in-game cards. This is a planned model, not a live feature.
You Keep Your NFT
Opting in your NFT does not transfer ownership. Your original asset remains yours. The in-game card is a separate derivative built with your consent.
Your NFT Becomes a Card
Opted-in NFTs become the visual and functional foundation of a Rug'd Sentient, Soulbound, or Catalyst card — carrying your asset's identity into the game.
Revenue Is Shared
Card sales and trades generate revenue split across three parties: the partner project, the individual NFT holder, and the Rug'd team. Holders earn from their asset's activity in-game.
Scarcity Is Yours to Set
Holders and partners may be able to define supply caps for their cards — creating genuine scarcity or allowing broader access depending on their goals.

Every faction partnership begins with a deep alignment conversation — project identity, community values, lore potential, and long-term fit within the Rug'd universe.
Faction Design
Together, we define the faction's strategic identity: its playstyle tendencies, ability clustering, token design, and mechanical philosophy. This takes time and intention.
Lore & Messaging
The faction's narrative is developed in collaboration — how it fits within the Rug'd Metaverse, what it represents, and how it's introduced to both communities.
Card Set Development
Working from the faction's identity, a card set is designed — Sentients, Soulbounds, Catalysts, and Token Cards — with promotional cards developed for community rollout.
Launch & Integration
The faction enters Rug'd with a coordinated release — community campaigns, cross-promotion, and a proper introduction to the game's ecosystem.

The faction and partnership systems described on this page are not fully built yet. That's intentional. Rug'd is validating the core game first — the mechanics, the economy, the experience.
When the time comes, the infrastructure to support partner factions — onboarding, legal frameworks, revenue systems, dashboards, dedicated staff — will be built properly. Not patched together. Not overpromised.
